This is definately a scam!!
My husband got all the same letters and employmentcontracts etc and also was told to just get a residence permit. after investigating there is no such company and their website does not exist and no-one is available for comment.
DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!!!!
Hi please can anyone tell me if this is a scam, my husband recieved his contract and he has a job in Cameroon for Dlugos Construction, everything is paid for even his flights however we must sort out and pay for his resident permit??? jenni@timberlogistics.co.za
Can you tell me the requirements for visiting visa to the Republic of South Africa? My email is josephelad@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks
Reading all these coments makes me concern, I also applied for a position at Sogea Satom and was within one day after my application excepted. Mr Kimba Binka also requested that I pay for my accommodation up front for three months at a specific hotel which is very unusual for such big campony and expected me to report there within one week. It is clear that this is a scam as there are a lot of documents and arrangements anyone must go through before leaving. It is hereby requested that this be investigated as jobs are scarces and a lot of people who can not affort it will be deprived from their hard earned last cash.
hi my husband applied for a job and we recieved an emailing saying he has it is this all legit
l have employed by this mine and they said imust be there on 27 of this month and they said imust pay the money at the hotel called whimseahouse.so idont know what to to ineed help and her name is danny suza.anyone who can help this is my email/munonelate@gmail.com
Stanley I have received exacly the same offer, everything seems legit but unfortunatly it is not. In order to obtain a visa and works permit you have go trhough the Cameroon embassy in pretoria, and your visa and permit must be signed by the high commision in pretoria and be put into your passport by THEM, also your permit cannot be mailed or posted to you directly as it has to run trhough the high commission, and ask yourself why do you need to make a payment before they can send it to you as where they should send you proof that it has been issued and then pay? Also they state that if you are allready in Cameroon you should pay cash at their offices, now if the Immigration office does NOT know you are in Cameroon who knows then? Hope all works out.
i have a contract now on my hand from these people they are giving my boyfriend a job, i'm not sure about this
