i also been offered a job as electrician by this company. but the salary they are offering is way too much. is this a scam or does it realy exist?

Hi, I also sent my bf's cv to these people-Ketch Construction and have been communicating with a guy named Darel McGuire, the recruiting officer.To my surprise also,they want you to pay for your own accommodation upfront for the 1st month.i find it dodgy. so i asked them to deduct the money from the salary that they will be paying. and i have phoned the Emabassy in Pretoria, and was told to phone later as the person that can allocate this company is out on lunch at the moment. if any1 knows anything about this company, please reply. thanks

My husband has been offered a job in Cameroon also, however the company name is Foukou Construction. The same details in the contract as mentioned by the people below. We have been requested the pay 1-2 months accomodation at the Phare Hotel (pharehotels@webamil.co.za) The contact person for this contract at Foukou is Aden Paul and the recruitment officer is Daniel Tchachwa (tel: 23796908829, e-mail: fokoufoberd@yahoo.com), the thing that strikes me here is that a huge coporate company prepared to offer these salaries operated of a "Free" yahoo e-mail account as well as the Hotel. This is a scam!!!

My husband was oalso offering a job. When I asked for confirmation of work at the above company, they tell it's very funny, how can this be a scam. Don't pay any money. I've contacted the embassy for more info and are still waiting on their reply. But please, 1st make sure about this company. What strike me the most is the unprofessional way of letter writting and also the contract. It was very unprofessiossional and slobby.
With regards to scams - I was offered a coaching position at the above academy - the conditions were much the same as Ketch Construction are requesting. Does anyone know whether this is a scam too ?

WE ae currently looking for workers and have nevered asked any one to send money to us.We told them to reserve accommodation at Hotel du phare because this hotel gives them the possibility to pay for thier rooms in cash upon thier arrival in Cameroon.
