I don't understand how some applicants apply the same time as others, and they wait 3 weeks to receive their new passport while others wait 8 to 9 months???? How does that work???
What can we expect from a South African High commission?? No answers on phone calls - no feedback about applications, No service!!! Cannot complain about service - THERE IS NONE!!!

I just want to find out whether a certain company in South Africa has any associations with Namibia because i found a advert of their services in the Namibia Newspaper.I am really interested in their service but im reluctant and sceptical about it due to some suspicions.They are a linking organization which links clients to sponsors abroad,they do charge fees for it.Therefore i just want to find out if they are genuine.If you are equally not aware please do call whom ever could perhaps find out this information.

My daughter applied for SA ID at the High Commission in Windhoek 10 years ago. To date she hasn't received the ID yet and they kept telling us that they did not receive it yet. We gave up hope of following up. Now I believe that if she applies in South Africa for an ID, she has to pay for a replacement.
I would also like to bring to your attention that as there is only a High Commission office in Windhoek, Namibia, we South African citizens who live outside of Windhoek, have to travel long distances to get there. I live in Walvis Bay which is about 400km from Windhoek. As the High Commission office closes at 12H15, it means that if you don't have your own transport, you have to travel the day before and book into a guesthouse. So applying for a new passport costs you about R1500.00 (if not more) and it takes a minimum of 6 months before you get it. Yet if you apply while on holiday in South Africa, it takes 5 - 10 days (if not less).
The follow up of applications is just as difficult as you can hardly ever get through as no-one answers and when they do, the right person is never available and no-one else can assist as it's not their job.
I am studying in Cape Town and my study visa expires at the end of November 2018. currently busy writing examinations, can i apply for a visa for another year in South Africa at the Department of Home Affairs?
I was in windhoek over a month ago making an enquiry regarding my renunciation letter which i appied in south africa in 03/2017.i have been to pretoria four times an every time i go its never ready..they just tell you come back later..not even bothered...or to to try an phn head
Office.i came to windhoek where service is even more pahetiic..the supervisor was on leave for 3 weeks with no one acting on her behalf ..up to now no feedback.. highly dissapointing...no one answers telephones when you call...
Im in need of a new passport or emergency travel documents. My passport was stolen with my wallet.
It is an emergency i have to travel and no phones are getting awnserd. I am currently living in Namibia with domicile. Could someone please assist.
Please send a number that we can get through to. I need clarification as to what documents is needed for my husband and to apply for our New SA Passports. Both our Passports are full. We have Permanent Residency in Namibia but urgently need to apply due to up coming travel arrangements.
