I am completing my third tour of Libya and has been in Benghazi for three weeks, I think it is more safe than parts of SA. It depends in which sector you are seeking a job.
I am dealing with the Embassy staff regularly at present and am very grateful for the excellent service and second mile standard that we receive from the Embassy. To Ambassador Dangor and his staff a great thumbs up and BIG THANK YOU!

The current situation in the east of Libya is not secure for internationals. i would not recommend that you accept any work in Benghazi at this point of time. Perhaps in a few months the situation will change.

job as south African!! if u find job or u had job b4 and u want to return its save for u... u r not police man ull be like the Libyan.... r u south Africa? i want to ask u about the lion cubs can i pass the airport if i come from south Africa with lion cubs? what is ur law in this subjects.
Please let me know how safe it is in benghazi to accept a job offer as a south african?
