I am a South African citizen and would like to apply for a south African passport which will expire in march but I urgently need to extend my Visa here in Canada which expires in February. How long to receive a new passport.

Dear Immigration Officer,
I am a Chinese living in Canada with the status of permanent resident(a valid Chinese passport and Maple Card holder). I am planning a tour to South Africa, the great and beautiful country, in this October, and I know I have to get the visit permit from you before the trip. Could you please advise what documentation I should prepare and submit for the visa application and if a long term valid permit could be issued to me?
best regards
Qi Zhang

Good day,
Due to limited storage We will appreciate it if you can collect your document no later than 28 September 2012.
For Security reasons Unclaimed documents are sent back to South Africa to be safely destroyed.
I live in BC, I have provided a stamped, self-addressed express post envelope to the consulate and Ms Rosie Alexandrov refuses to answer my email querying why it cannot be posted to me.
I would be very grateful if you would treat this matter with great urgency.
Yours faithfully,
C.N. Widen
