I applied for study permit on same day as well
Hi all, i had applied for the Study permit on the 31st of January and they had given me the acknowledgement and in the collection date column they have stated "check after 60 working days". when i telephoned them today they said- it ll take time, it might take till the last week of MAY!
I appreciate the people like Mr.Sunny and Mr.Shijo here who is updating us about the high commission, thanks and its helping. i request all the fellow citizen who get to know any update- please do share here.
Dear all my friend yesterday walked in the embsy...they say that there is huge backlog...they told him to wait till may last wk that is too wid no assurance...the councilor is back nd the process is active now...bt they said they would be concentrating on business,study and tourist visas intially....and there is a system dysfunction as in that notice which is connected to the head office in SA...i even insisted that i wanna meet the councilor bt we cant meet him personally...told me cl embsy nd tel the operator to conect to the councilor....
There are a lot of people i saw same like us waiting for diffrnt visas...all are disappointed...
Ok... I think ICT falls under permits , right ?
So they shld clear permits also if they are clearing visa..

From where u came to know ds bcz yesterday someone posted that they vl start for January applications in May.
Please update .
Just learnt that they have cleared till 18th March applications in Delhi.
Applied on 28th March 14 for Business Visa and still waiting as of today. Pls post in how many days one is getting the visa now days?

As mentioned before they might start working on in the month of May and will ask to deposit a new draft as the old one will expire as of now they have not even touched the applications
