Sorry I wont be able to attend , Cannot travel, I am an old lady and live outside Mumbai.
Below are few emails- If someone can send them a common email informing that you all are going to visit Mumbai Consulate for silent protest. They will publish it in their daily blogs and it will get highlighted with authorities in South Africa too. This will be very effective to reach out to the correct authorities. Remember they must clear all the backlog before 10-Dec otherwise no would get their visas before end January. So pressure on them is needed.
I have myself taken service of South African consulate/Embassies in many countries and believe me they are superstars, they work like miracle. Dont know why people in mumbai consulate are so adamant that they dont want to process quickly.

i have part of my business in johanesburg. I had a urgent meetings to attend there. For last 1 month i have been waiting for my visa approval. Still no progess. My work is getting affected. The embassy is really slow.
