@SB Reddy: Not sure about AepNit his case seems strange as this kind of delay is not usual.

@Kunal: verification stage is to authenticate all the documents you have submitted. The PCC is verified with the police station, your passport is verified and also your company registration documents are ensured for their authenticity. Once this is done, then the application is submitted for final discretion of the visa grant officer.

Heard that people who submit their tourist application through any travel agency get it in 5 working days, Individual application can suffer as much they can. Dont know how much is truth , looks very convincing as I have seen cases.

@SB Reddy: your case is VERY different from @AepNit as his has been pending for 6 months and yours is still in due time.

@SB Reddy: That is possibly the worst thing anyone can do. Wait for 75 days and then apply from Delhi and then wait another indefinite time.

My suggestion would be to wait for 75 days and then call the consulate. Delhi embassy also takes 80+ days to process the visas.

Also, if no documents have been asked for within the first month of submission of application it means they have cleared the overview stage and are now pending verification. You will not be asked to submit any more documents post the first month.

@AepNit
Your case and my case are similar. I applied on DEC-13.
I will wait till FEB-13 + 15 days. I will wait for 75 days and take my passport back.

or I will withdraw the application and submit it in DELHI VFS.

If I call consulate, they either say System is down or call VFS and then they immediately disconnect.

Should I visit Mumbai consulate? Will it help?
