I just received an email response from my immigration consultant who is based in Cape Town and as per him, there is no such update of introduction of IELTS or a pointer based system.
However, he has cleared that even if such a case takes place, the applications submitted previously will remain unaffected as we all predicted. He says this from experience of the previous instance when the laws around ICT visas were changed and still the applications submitted before the changes were unaffected.
Lastly, I know VFS is merely an agency and a bridge between applicants and embassies and that is exactly why I would take their word over any agent any given day.

For your information the link u shared is not approved by DHA. I read the same long ago and discussed with DHA and VFS both.
I also discussed the same with many immigration advisors in SA and they all have different opinions.
And dino apart from you no one looks so adamant on trusting VfS info.
VFS is not going to help you if yiur visa is delayed or rejected. You yourself have to make plan B ready.
He said he will trust VFS.
I said there is no pointing in trusting VFS as VFS is just provider of logistics.
Rules are framed by High commission SA.
That is the point I am trying to tell Mr. DINO.

To understand that not just page 80. read from 80 till page 15. you come across various messages which proves it.
