Extremely sorry to hear about your experience. If a tourist visa took more than a month I honestly wonder how long would the permits take.
However, is there anyone who can tell us if applications in Delhi are also moving as slow or is it any better there?
@frustrated visa APPlicant
Hi,
I was planning to travel SA in April for vacations and I just read your review about embassy. It seems that it would be better if I change my plan.. I cannot bear such people.. I if it is the same story for me then I will also lost my money.. I don't want to take chance.. Thankyou so much for saving us.. your review helps allot.. I would definitely look for another options to visit..
Thanks

Dear all,
The worst consulate for visa processing award of the year goes to South african consulate MUMBAI... after one month since i applied for my tourist Visa finally today i cancelled my tickets and my hotel stay! i lost my 50K for doing so...but at least i am satisfied i feel relieved. I dont have to bear this tension anymore. I have planned to go to southafrica almost a year back and applied for my visa in the starting of January 2017 with all the possible documents necessary! i called almost 100 times to VFS...VFS is like a bitch who cant do anything except forward your documents and shut his mouth. ANd the great south african consulate mumbai is comprised with bunch of ******. i mean how can they talk to an applicant like this! when i call a lady picks up the phone in SA consulate mumbai and transfers the call to another lady and this lady trust me guys is one mean lady who doesn't know how to talk politely and give respect to others. she will talk as if we are free tourists and going to SA on a free tour.(if you have domestic issues go and settle it at home) and Well... as far as i know i have good friends in SA who are the originals of SA and residing in cape town. THey are very good people and the country is so beautiful beyond any words.
BUT these bunch of ****** in south african consulate mumbai are spoiling the reputation of this beautiful country.
Well i cancelled my trip today costing me 50K BUT i am happy that i dont have to follow up...call continously to VFS and CALL to this shit office in mumbai between 2-3 and listen to some ***** lady to hear me say to follow up with VFS again in a harsh voice.
I pray to god! may u guys get your visa soon!
god bless SA consulate mumbai!
