@Baba
Kishor & Mistry are 2 different employees of the SA embassy in Mumbai. I have met them once in the embassy and have spoken to them over the phone on multiple occasions, i don't know if they are involved in any racket but they are really helpful. I usually ask for them when i call the embassy as they politely give answers to all my questions.
Dont challenge the knowledge and information of Dino or his friends based in SA.
On other hand UK Intra Company Transfer Permit can be can be obtained on same day from UK Consulate in Mumbai by paying service fee of INR.67000 .
Very useful who are in a hurry.
Why do they not get kicked from SA if they are Illegal? This is spoiling India's name and hurdles for few deserving because of bunch of illegal indians in SA.
I am not sure how to answer your questions. My best guess is because of the increasing immigrants from India who have gone to SA on tourist visas and have settled there illegally.
I myself met a few such people in Joburg and hence maybe the rules were tightened.
Can you tell me then why is it that only applicants from india have to wait for a long time? People from all over the world apply for ICT and CSV visas and they get fair treatment from their country 's SA consulate: accept it this is only to do with Indians that they have problems.
Sometimes fraud documents which can't be verified for authenticity (example quote a few applicants submitting fake university degrees for CSV visas) require the consulate to verify the degree from the university which they do via email. If the university responds in time, visas are granted or rejected timely but as we know most small universities do not respond in a timely manner hence causing delays in applications.
It all boils down to 2 things:
1. Yes there is a backlog on the consulates side
2. The backlog isn't long enough to keep people waiting for 6-8 months. If that has been the case it is probably because the documents are awaiting verification from a third party side.
