The consulate is no more returning passports according to the date of application. Due to the backlog in Mumbai- preference is given to applicants whose journey day is approaching.

my company has applied for my ICT in mid november but still we have not received my ICT.usually it takes around 66 days.Please do something.
I have applied for South African visa to participate in church event on 9th March 2014, till now I did not get visa,the visa processing in your office suppose to be 5days only according to your policy. If you take more than 5working days,you need to inform passport holder/ authorised agent about the causes for pending of our passports in your office. My application ref no: DHMU/270214/0033/01, my scheduled program starts on 9th March 2014 at Johannesburg,speed up your process, and don't give us tension.
I have tried an entire week to call this consulate number. Why even bother putting a number on your site for contact if A)Noone answers the phone, trying every 30mins for a week now! B)When someone does answer they say "No english" I mean really? And you work at the SA Consulate and english being the main language of the WORLD!! C)1st time someone answers he says sorry,its lunchtime call back in an hour,and ofcause you do and get no answer.2nd time someone answers he says sorry we closed, 3rd time someone answers, call back in 25minutes. Just getting someone on the phone is a miracle and now you cant even hear me out or help me. DAMN PATHETIC

I applied for a visitors visa for South Africa on 2nd Dec 2013. My Reference no is DHMU/021213/0009/01. It has been more than 3 months since I have been waiting for the visa. I have now submitted the request for withdrawal of my visa application.
Request you to please return my passport as I have plans to visit US and have to apply for US visa.

Hi There,
It has been 3 months since I applied for my parents visa and havent got it yet.
What is the gaurantee that the embassy is not loosing passports of the applicants. I have asked the Counsulate to return my parents passports back but havent recieved it yet.
I think we must do a POLICE COMPLAINT against SA Counsulate.
Did anyone withdraw the visa application and got the passports back..??

I have planned our tour to South Africa, travel date is 11th March, 2014. The Visa Application was submitted on 12th February, but the Visa has not arrived yet. We are worried as 50% of payments for hotel and flights is not refundable.
