God knows when my visa will come. Been 45+ days but still no idea.... South Africa, are you listening?????
My Name is Jayant Soni,I am from India and I am holing Indian Passport. I came to South Africa on visitor visa on 21st January 2014 and I left the country on 14th March 2014. When I reached to South Africa to meet there some of the South African people. I will mention all the people name in this email.when I reached to South Africa they offered me to marry over there to their daughter, I agreed on that time and I got married to a girl name is Karishma dayanand. I Got married to her on 25th February 2014. After marriage they asked me for money and I paid to them 50000 Rends.Then they told me go to your room and she will come tomorrow. But from next day they told me that go back to India otherwise they will kill me ,I got a call from a guy from there only his name is Shiraj he is from Pakistan. I was scared because they cheated me and threaten me to kill. after I left South Africa and came back to India. Now I want to do a legal case against all the people and I want justice from your side. I am going to send you all the name of people with ID number,name and address.

I also going to do complain from India to South African Embassy, New Delhi for this fraud which was happen with me and mentally harassment,and they robbed my 50000 Rends. Also one day they came to my room and beat me and asking for the money,I have photos also I am going to Send. I want My money back and My wife to come to India. i am also going to send you my marriage certificate and photo of my wife.
Dear sir,I applied South Africa visa to join with my Husband of as dependent visaand very eager to join as earlyas possible due to ill health of my husband.I applied 28 Feb 2014 still I am not getting visa.

We r group of 10 people our date of travel is 1st April to Johannesburg our visa still not came
I have applied for Visa on 11/03/2014. Until now no sign. I was suppose to travel to Dubai also but since my passport is with them I have to cancel my flight and was unable to attend an important meeting.
When travel dates are clearly mentioned on covering letter they should straight away inform us whether they can give Visa before that or not.
Is there anyone whom we can contact and escalate the matter.
I think anyone who has access to any new channels should try to inform them about the poor work ethics and unacceptable delays of this consulate resulting in people loosing substantial money and precious time. If any news channel carries this story it might help expedite things. Ministry of External Affairs should take note of the situation and intervene to stop Indian citizens being harrased in thier own country.
If the Embassy is taking too long to issue the visa and my trip gets cancelled because of late issue or if i loose money because of waiting for the visa or any kind of problem faced by the citizen of India.
where should i lodge a legal complaint? or how to put a law suit against the embassy for wasting my time?
Is there any board in India monitoring all this?
I understand there are lot of problems in getting visa, but would request people to update thier comments as to if they eventually did get thier visa just in time to make the journey. this will help others decide if one should plan a trip to SA or not.
