Delay in VISA
Hi,

I've applied for visa on 22nd December. I was supposed to report to my course on 10th Jan 2015. Since i did not get my visa on time i had to cancel the ticket and reschedule it for tomorrow (13/01/2015). The final date to report is on 14th Jan.And if i do not report on that particular day i would have no seat reserved and no refund for what i've paid. Please understand as my future is at stake. I've submitted all my documents. Still I've no idea about the status.

Looking forward for your help.

Regards,

Critical Skills Work Visa - Registration body for Electrical Engineers ( South African Institute of Electrical Engineers)
Hi,

I am planning to apply for Critical Skills work visa (Electrical Engineer). I have my qualifications assessed by SAQA, obtained my Police Clearance certificate from the respected countries that I have stayed in, got my medical and 5 years work experience recommendation letters from my previous employees. I visited Delhi Embassy last November to apply for this and was informed that I need to be registered with a professional body in South Africa.
I have hence registered as a “ Member” with the "South African Institute of Electrical Engineers".

Kindly advice me on whether I should get any additional documentation or registration done before visiting the embassy again. I stay in Kerala and it’s quite a commute for me to reach Delhi or Bombay for my visa application.
I would much appreciate your guidance on this matter which will help me resolve my application process in one go.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Query on PCC - South africa dependant visa
Hi,

Hope you are doing well !!

I have a query regarding police clearance certificate for dependent visa(Spouse). My spouse stayed here in south Africa till Feb 16th 2014 and has taken a PCC before leaving south africa - this PCC is valid for only 6 months and it is expired now. Since Feb 17th 2014, she is being residing in India till now.

Now, She’ll be applying for a new dependent visa in March’2015 to accompany me in south Africa. So, that means her stay will be more than one year in India since her returning from south africa in Mar’2015. My query is, does she needs to get a new PCC from south africa when she applies for new dependent visa or can she submit the PCC from India ?

Awaiting for your response. Thanks in advance.
