Re: Inquiry regarding Tourist Visa
We, a local manning agent deploying seaman plying international water would like to inquire from your good office regarding documentary requirements & procedure on application of tourist visa for the wife of one of our seafarer.

For your brief information, one of our crew was medically repatriated from our vessel during call at Durban, South Africa.
He is presently at hospital in Durban and on critical condition. Hence, we are sending abroad his wife and sister to help assist the crew in recuperating at hospital.

With this, we would like to inquire also of possibilities of expedite processing and release of visa. Anticipating for any assistance regarding this matter. Thank you.

RE. the inquiry
For Venus Francisco:

I am also a client who is processing and applying for the spousal visa to South Africa. I went there for the last two months with a tourist visa. I just also want to help other people who wants to apply. With regards to the requirements for the fiancee visa, you can try to search and go to the south african website. You will the list there.

For tere:

If you're applying for a tourist visa, they will not ask the 35k deposit if you currently have work and can show them your three months bank statement. But I think if you don't have work, they will ask you for the deposit. They will give it back to you when you return to the Philippines after your visa expire.

Re. Inquiry of Ms. Venus Francisco
Hello,

I suggest you apply for a tourist visa or fiancee visa. Tourist visa processing would take 1 week to 2 and fiancee visa would take more or less 3 months of process. Just check the website for more information with regards to the requirements.

God bless!
