Paying of fine
I write in connection with the above caption. I fell ill during my January visit thus over stayed in RSA for 5 days and was fined at beit bridge but due to limited time we are given to do all border formalities I couldn't pay right there and then.
I came to lusaka to pay I was told that I could only pay in US which I didn't have I only had ZAR and KR so I rushed to the bank to get US. Time I got back to the embassy it was after 12:30 and I found it closed. I came back to Ndola without achieving my goal and reason for my lusaka trip.
My question is if I want to travel to RSA by air would I be allowed to pay the fine at my point of entry or I just have to come to the embassy in lusaka and pay? Kindly sensitize me on this issue.
