also been trying to phone and the automation hangs up on me countless times. have sent emails and nothing? what is going on. is it safe to book a flight which seems available on Qatar and go or is the flight going to be cancelled and i lose money? and is there still quarantine in a government hotel when landing or can we self-isolate? what is going on - someone please reply....
The SA embassy has no interest in helping. The emails bounce back and there's no one to answer the calls or give advice.
When one goes to the SA Embassy/High Commission website, there are a number of related links to everything, except REPATRIATION FLIGHTS.
This is an apalling state of affairs, because there are still many South African citizens wanting to get home.
Can the embassy not use one person to attend to these requests?
The lack of response to anything written or to phone messages is unacceptable & embarrassing.
Please do the work for which you are being paid!
I have been trying to send a mail to the high commission for days now and nobody picks up the phone. Does anyone know if there is actual staff working. All mails get returned due to them being full and phone always goes to answering service and no one calls back.
Stop this abuse now ! No country with any pride would allow this you do not deserve any visitors .
Abusers of donkeys in Bella Bella must be stopped . No one should holiday in your country while this is tolerated . ACT !!!!!
I would like to ask about obtaining a visitor Visa in the UK with a South African passport.
The above was a news item on BBC news today. It was wonderful to hear the comments from the South Africans on it. They spoke excellent English with words clearly spoken as they should be. In England now the latest generation do not speak clearly when the letter "T" is in a word. I listened to a lady MP speaking in Parliament a few days ago and she also kept leaving out the letter T in words. It was a treat to listen to English being spoken correctly. Thank you South Africa for educating your people so well on "Spoken English" Yours sincerely, Colin Russell.
Seen the press and news today. Lions being harvested and caged so fat, wealthy, sadistic so called hunters...joke.. can kill these beautiful innocent creatures, shame on you South Africa.

We applied in early in May 2018 and were promised by November, 2018 it is now march 2019 and still no word having phoned numerous times to London and Pretoria no one can give you an answer dear Lord what is one to do. We need to fly to S A in April,2019 were supposed to go for Christmas but what can we do still no darned
passport we only get lip service and bad lip service. HELP
