@Zee
you pay online. you can only secure an appointment after payment has been confirmed. This is now the case because people were making bookings and failing to turn up. Also mainly because VFS is all about the money.

Consulting Tip !
Do not seek any Immigration advise from Home Affairs call center agents or VFS call center agents, those people are poorly trained and very clueless of the Immigration Act/Regulations.If you call them 3 different times you will be told 3 different things.You will be seriously misled.Rather seek advise from a registered Immigration lawyer or better still come here !

Hope
There were not so many returned passports last week, as far as this platform is concerned. Let's just hope that this new week has got something for us. Hope.

@Connections
Unfortunately the ethics of this page do not allow corruption of any sort, at any level.

If this info can be handy: A new team was assigned to the embassy somewhere around October. To curb corruption, so you may not be in luck, anyways.

how to pay fine for my overstaying passport
I had charged R3000 for overstaying in South Africa.They gave me receipt. when I went back to boarder to pay the fine they took my passport and ordered me to pay in Zim so I don't know what to do.
