Comments on this Embassy
The mistake was on your side. You put zim contract and these guys probably didt go through your contract or they assumed its an inter company transfers thus why you were given 3 years. If you dont have a contract you apply for 1 year csv which has 3 conditions; to take up employment as ...., position engineer or whaterver job, company name not applicable.Does the company have a sister comapny in SA?
no i ddnt cross with it going back home
Good day everyone which board can i join when applying for a CSV as a risk analyst or assessor
@ Robert
Responses from home affairs for overstay appeals are very difficult to come by. I had the same problem bit because the ban was holding a lot of things, I had to sought the services of an attorney. You may need to consult this guy although they are expensive, you can get your response in two weeks. They charged me R8500 but issues maybe different.

Good Day,
I refer to your mail below. By way of brief introduction, my name is Matthew Venturas and I am an attorney specializing in overstay appeals and other immigration related issues. In overstay matters we generally advise clients that we can draft a comprehensive appeal on their behalf in order to overturn any ban issued, and submit same to the Department of Home Affairs (“DHA”). Once submitted we will continuously follow-up to ensure it is received and is swiftly adjudicated on. The appeal needs to be submitted within 10 working days from the date of departure from South Africa. If this date has passed, we will need to make a case for late submission.
The unfortunate reality of the matter is that DHA is currently inundated with these appeals, but we have been advised that 4 -8 weeks is the approximate waiting time for an outcome. Nevertheless, constant pressure on DHA certainly assists in expediting a matter and ensuring it is given preference. We have experienced success in obtaining outcomes from between 1 week to 2 months of submission. It goes without saying that success cannot be guaranteed and is dependent on the reasons for and duration of the overstay, but you can rest assured that we will make the strongest possible case on your behalf. We currently have a 100% success rate regarding our overstay appeals and maintain relatively open lines of communication with DHA. You can view some of our reviews on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/savisas/reviews).
In order for our firm to commence work on any matter, we require a deposit to be paid beforehand. In this instance we require a deposit of R7500.00 per appeal. Payment will need to be made into our trust account before we can commence any work, details as follows:
I recently got a 3years CSV.The problem is they stamped it with my Title and my current employer which is a Zimbabwean company with operations in SA as well.
I applied for CSV without a contract .I am currently employed by a Zimbabwean company in Harare. However i attached my current contract of Zim company.
My Question is i am i not going to face some challenges with employers in SA because i need to find a Job at a company that is not printed on my visa
