Did they call or email you?
People in your position have been rejected before. The reason they cited was that he/she was not able to secure a job in 1 year they were given. Try your best to get a job because you may never be able to get that CSV again. If you are eligible for PR then apply for that instead.

Has anyone managed to uplift or overturn an 5 year overstay ban directly at the embassy through paying a fine or through any related process.
