Please update on forum if you get any responses from vfs. Am also waiting since September last year

Its possible to change, you go to Zim and apply your CSV then they give u a form to waiver u from collecting the passort since your ZEP is still valid, u can go back to work, once you CSV is out they will notify you and you bring your passport for collection of CSV. i did that under IT critical skills in 2018 so no need to worry. all the best.

I am a Chemical Engineer and registered with South African Institute of Chemical Engineers.l am intending to apply for a CSV here in Zimbabwe.Are there any Chemical Engineers who applied using SAICHE

You made a mistake already. The then DHA minister opened that window when the announced ZEP, that those on ZSP willing to migrate to mainstream visas were allowed to do so in RSA. So you were supposed to apply for your CSV in RSA while holding you ZSP. I am not aware now, as going back to ZIM and apply would be equal to just like someone starting afresh
Hi guys, Is there anyone with knowledge on the issue of being given back your passport if you are a ZEP holder. The thing is I need to change to CSV but I need to just submit application and go back to work with my passport...Does anyone have information on how this is done..

When did your status change to ready for collection? And which field did you apply under?
CSV submitted 21 Sept in Harare now ready for collection. Did not get the email notification but checked on the site and it says it's ready. Hope it's a positive outcome!
