Am curious as to why passport have to take so long to be process and dont get me wrong its not here -its home affairs in SA- what are they doing to improve the situation? Had to wait 9m, not cool at all, no appology on top of that. not happy with their services back home, hope they are doing something very soon or someone else will sue them :(:(
Hi,
My call at 4.22pm was answered at 4.23pm, very pleasant lady and was helpful.
I don't quite understand all the negative comment's written....
why have an embassy when there is poor service.People are being paid for not answering phone call.Even to give feed back when their documents have arrived. The worst is that when your document arrives they dont bother to post your documents to you.Shut it down or better still employ people who are ready to put south africans first.
Hi , I have a newly issues South African Passport, as well as my previous passport that is due to expire in July 2014. I have registered to vote in tomorrows election by completing the VEC10 form online, and my registration has been confirmed. However, I do not have a valid ID book. I have an out of date ID book that is barcoded, but it has not been renewed. Will I still be able to vote tomorrow at the Dublin embassy?
I just phoned the embassy and was told that they will be open for voting tomorrow (30 April) between 7am and 7pm.
During what times can we vote at the South African Embassy in Dublin on the 30th APRIL 2014?
Inefficiency is not the correct term, downright useless and un-cooperative is more accurate. Not only are phones not answered but the hours of public access is extremely limited. Makes me wonder what service to SA citizens is available. Children's replacement passports requires both parents presence (plus marriage cert - again)and the kids are to be fingerprinted -is a photograph not enough? ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.
Where on earth have you heard of an embassy thats not answering phones ,i have been ringing since 10 o'clock no one picks up the flippin phone, you re so inefficient
