Does a Singaporean need a working visa to work onboard the Rig at GOM (Gulf of Mexico)
Details of Singaporean working onboard:
1) Mexico Embassy in Singapore claimed that no visa required
2) Client confirm that a working visa is required
3) Singaporean will be just working for 6 mths at least on back to back rotation in GOM
3) Singaporean currently oboard rig on tow from Curacao to CD Del Carmen, tentatively arriving on 13 Aug 11
4) Singaporean have all document (liberian seaman book / rig pass / client LOI {Letter of Invitation} / CV)
5) We have been in contact (phone & email), but do not seem to get any concrete details
6) Last but not least, need details to move on the visa thing
7) if no work visa required, how to convince our office in Houston & client... any form of written document would be good
