Sir,
Pondichery, Karikal, Mahe and Yanaon were formerly the french India, and now are the Union territory of Indian Union, In Pondichery chief town on the sea coast, there are Lycee francais, Institut francais, ecole francaise run by the French Govt. There is also a French consulate general. There also the Allliance francaise and IDEF (Pondicherry section). In all the above ex french towns, a substantial size of population are french, hindus and muslims. As Senegal was also an ex french colony along with Fr,India, they had a common link to a certain extent, I hope if a Senegalese consulate is opened in Pondicherry, it will be beneficial for more cooperation and development of culture, education, law and commerce of both Pondicherry UT and Senegal. Yours sincerely
