Dear Senegalese readers,
As the Ebola virus is rapidly spreading worldwide I am reminded of the outbreak of the Spanish flu (March 1918 to spring 1919), killing an estimated 50 million to 100 million people around the world. At the same time it was noted that people who regularly included backing soda in their diet did not got sick or when they did get the illness recovered quickly. For those who did not eat backingsoda on a regular basis there was a simple recipe, which I have been using myself for the last seven years to avoid taking the flu shot the doctor wants me to take each year. I have not had any disease from the moment I started taking this, not even when my daughter went to kinder garden which is a breading ground for illnesses. I use the following dossis as recommended in a 1921 Arm and Hammer booklet:
Recommended dosages from the Arm and Hammer Company for colds and influenza back in 1925 were:
During the first day take six doses of half teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water, at about two hour intervals
During the second day take four doses of half teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water, at the same intervals
During the third day take two doses of half teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water morning and evening, and thereafter half teaspoonful in glass of cool water each morning until cold is cured
As this is extremely cheap to buy I wonder if it would be worth it to test this on the people who are now suffering from the Ebola virus.
