I am from Nepal.Even i received a message from a lady called Vivian Moura age 24. She tells me that her father has deposited 6.5 million dollar in a bank. And her parents were killed in civil war. And she too gave me the bank account number and told me to contact the bank. And also about the lawyer, which asked me to pay him Euro 750 dollars for the work. Thank you friends you all have opened my eyes. I was about to do such a bi mistake.

Dear sir, I know from my own experience how genuine seeming and emotional the appeal may be... but trust me when I say that it is only an act... a confidence game. YOU WILL BE THE LOSER if you play along. Please see AND READ my posting on WED, 3 Jul 2013 20:21 EDT.

If you do not believe me, at least look at the facts detailing all of this on Wikipedia.

First, look at "419 Scam", a.k.a. "Nigerian Scam" here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/419_scam

Next, look at "Romance Scam" here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_scam

Then end your contact. She is not your "friend", she "does not like you", she does not "love you". SHE WANTS TO USE YOU, and TAKE YOUR MONEY. Understand?

I hope that I have helped. Fair well.

I want to help help her but am not sure if its not fraud
I recieved a message a 24year old lady who claims to be a refugee in Senegal-Dakar after the death of her family in a war in Liberia. she also claims to be the next of kin to her father's money which he deposited in a bank in Scotland. She sent me mails and contacts of the Director of the bank and the Senegalese lawyer. The Director of the bank told me to power of Attorney and some other documents so that the money is transfered to my account in my country. The lawyer asked me to send him an amount of $ 580USD through Western Union. I dont have that money but the lady is pleading with me to atleast send half of the amount to the lawyer because she wants to join me and study from my country. Can this be true????????

ARE THEY REQUESTING OR PORMISING MONEY? HEARTBREAKING OR FANTASTIC? READ THIS!!!
Having been the target of these requests or promises, and learning the hard way, I must agree with the USA student lawyer working in Ghana, and his posting on Tue, 11 Jun 2013 05:46 EDT. Do look at it! The Federal Bureau of Investigation with the United States Department of Justice has an insurmountable load of cases just like this. It always ends no good for the person either sending money or allegedly promised to receive fantastic amounts of money. If you do not believe me, at least look at the facts detailing all of this on Wikipedia. First, look at "419 Scam", a.k.a. "Nigerian Scam" here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/419_scam Next, look at "Romance Scam" here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_scam NEVER SEND MONEY OR RECEIVE MONEY FROM ANYONE YOU HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE IN PERSON, AND ON A LONG TERM BASIS - ESPECIALLY OVER THE INTERNET AND TELEPHONE. If someone contacts you to send them money for any assortment of reasons, or to get money for them, or promising you money, please do not do it. This is a common scam where people will give you a really sad story to try and get you to help them but they will instead take your money (or you will end up with criminal charges placed against you for your cooperation). They are not ever who they say they are (and can pretend to be many people that ONLY SOUND real and credible). PLEASE GET WISE before it is too late! I hope that I have helped you.

A girl needs help from Senegal Refugee Camp
I received horrible stories from Lady called Miss Miracle Tamba Dolo who is asking for help from me to enable her rediscover her life due to the death of her parents because she has nobody to come to her aid in other to continue with her education, and she also claimed the late father has left her a fortune and she has nominated me to be her trustee/guardian. The bank is requesting for the following;
1. Power of Attorney from Senegalese High Court
2. Affidavit of Oath from the same Court
3. Certificate of Trustee/Guardianship.
Please could the our embassy in Senegal carry out the necessary due diligence on the above story and also finally find out how much it will cost me to secure the above document and if the money is made available to the embassy whether they can procure these documents on my behalf. Thanks in Advance.
