Salam alakum..I am student from Malaysia university, I will like to find out what type document that I need for visiting saudi arabia and to perform umrah as well by end of this month.
I am planning in near future to perform umrah on my own with several friends and appreciate it if you could advise us on how to go about applying for umrah visa. Should we visit the embassy for filling up the required forms and how much will it cost? With the umrah visa, can we travel to other places/town/city in saudi arabia, i.e. madinah, etc except riyad.

We wish to know, is it possible that we arrange our own trip for Umrah i.e. apply our own visa and book our own hotel? InsyaAllah we plan to go in March 2013, that being the case how much time do we require to apply & process the visa. Wasalam.
I am Malaysian, visiting my niece in Cairo and would like to perform Umrah. How do I apply for the visa for the stay in Mecca & Medina 3-4 days maximum.
I have a group of 12-14 University students and Lecturers planning for study tour/visit to a few university in Riyadh,Madinah and Mekah and lastly performing umrah. Appreciate if you could advise us on how to go about applying visa. Should we apply separate visa to enter Riyadh.
