UMRAH FROM UAE by Car
Salam,
Its very easy to go for umrah from UAE by car.
If u r not UAE national then consider the followings:
1)U and ur family members must have a UAE residence visa (any type of visa, for example: Employment Visa, Husband's sponsored visa, Father's sponsored visa, etc.).
2) At the time of Umrah Visa application u must have more than 90 days for ur Residence Visa expiry.
3) Go to the Hospital (same hospital where u go for Medical Test for UAE Visa) with ur Original passport for Vaccination (Vaccination is a must). They will do some documentation.
4) Go to any Travelling Agency who deals in Umrah also (Hamla service) with original passport & vaccination document. Note u can not apply personally in Saudi Embassy. Travelling agent will charge u the visa fees only if u r going by ur own car. Within 7 to 10 days u will receive ur passport with Umrah visa.
5) Now go to the motor registration office (Tasjeel / Morour) with original passport, Car registration card (Mulkia) & Driving license & one more thing Emirates ID card also. On the counter tell them that u want to take ur car with u for Umrah. There u will get Transit Travelling papers against some fees (like AED 200) and that's it. Good luck.
