2015 LATIN ARTS FESTIVAL- Centro Latino is seeking artist applications for the 2015 Juried Latin Art Show, City of Tacoma, August10-22, 2015. A maximum of 100 artists will be recruited within the State of Washington, Caribbean Islands and Central and South American countries. Artists are asked to reflect upon the theme: ”Life Migrations of the Americas”. The Show is open to all artists. Students and professionals are equally encouraged to enter. Entries must represent original work in the medium of painting, printmaking and photography. Jurors from the Tacoma Art Museum and Washington State Arts Commission will award certificates, ribbons and $1,000. Professional artists will be charged a $25.00 entry fee and student artists will be charged a $15.00 entry fee (entry fee scholarships are available). Deadline: May 15, 2015.
