Comments on this Honorary Consulate
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a Romanian citizen, born in Suceava. I am an American citizen as welI.
I would like to apply for a Romanian Passport here, in LA.
However , I am going to be in Romania for about a week, in the beginning of August.
1) Is it faster over there? Would it cost less over there.
2) What documents do I need to bring along with me for the application(I do not have a current or expired Romanian passport. My most recent one was issued some 12 years ago and was discarded)?
3) How do I change my name, If I would like to( my first name was changed in the US)?
4) Can my wife, an American citizen, become a Romanian citizen as well, in my merit(Her father is a Romanian citizen, as well)?
5) Can my children become Romanian citizens?
Thank you in advance for your response, E.Feldman.
