offer of appointment
I have received an offer from Qatar Foundation for Construction and Oil company QFCOS, @ $10,500 salary per month and the travel agency (Mideast Travel and Legal consultants MTLC, is asking a fee of $ 1380 for processing 5 years visa etc...
this look so fake that even after several telephone contacts, the response looks so untrustworthy and asking to remit the fee by Western Union to a person and not to the company. This needs real police verification. thanks

Rejection of Visa Application
I phoned the embassy to inquiry on how to go about applying for a visa and was given the information, which also included the payment of the visa fees. The instruction was that I should put the money in an envelope with the documents and sent with the courier. I was very concerned at the method of payment and phoned the embassy the very next day to check if documents had been received including the money and was quite relieved that all was well.
My second issue of concern was when I checked on the application status a week or so later and was told that the application had not yet been submitted as it was still early since my travel was in April. So I was not quite surprised a week later to be told that my application was rejected. I must say that I have never had a visa application rejected and I'm quite curious as to why.
When I queried, I was advised to apply through my hotel and I did that but they are also unable to assist because when they tried to submit the application they were told that I have an online application still pending!! So now I am stuck. The embassy here tells me they cannot assist only the Ministry of Internal Affairs can cancel that application on their system.

Can anyone advise me?? I had planned to visit Qatar during the Easter holidays.

regarding the offer i got from qatar
i got a offer of 9800 US dollars as electrical Engineer from qatar foundation Engineering company. without any interview or any phone call . how come this company giving offer without taking interview.for the process of 5 years visa and all stuff i have to pay some money.
