affidavit of support
i am working for qatarairways here in doha, holding a resident visa.
i applied for a resident visa also for my wife and she has now the original resident visa issued by qatar on her passport.
i would just like to inquire why she is being asked at cebu airport to present an affidavit of support.. . .and etc.
i have checked BID web site under TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINOS, only three documents are needed.
also, i have co-workers here in qatar who's wife are already here , and they were not asked any document other than the passport, qatar visa and ticket.

Visa Verification
I'm an OFW,I worked in Qatar from May 2,2004 to May 14, 2006. I finished my two years contract in Qatar. Now I've been accepted by a company but i don't know if the company can get a working visa for me because I want to work again in Qatar, so i would like to verify if i'm still banned or not? Thank you.

is it possible if i can work again in qatar though i am banned there because i didn't finish my contract due to family matter? is it true that the banned in qatar is 6months and not 2yrs?

How long to process working visa?
Someone help me.I am a first timer to work in abroad,I've applied for a job in Qatar and I passed the interviews etc. and I gave my orig.passport to the agency and my NBI clearance last Nov.2010,and still I am waiting for my visa.Is it normal to wait for more than 2 months for a working visa?The agency always tell us that our visas depends on our employer.PLease help me about this.I really need a help and advice.The future of my 2 kids depends on this one.Thanks..

Complaint againt mistake of Philippine Embassy Staff
I've renewed my passport last November 14, 2010. I filled-up all the information clearly.
It was stated in the form birth of date: day/month/year/
I filled-up 05 SEPTEMBER 1980. After two months and 1 week ,January 20, 2011, I received a text messages that I can claimed my passport at the embassy but before this I keep on making follow-up for I need my new passport coz the expiry date of my old passport last Dec.14,2010 still I keep on waiting on there delayed. I went to the Embassy after I received the txt message but when I received my new passport i found out that they made it wrong on my date of birth, it stated there May 9, 1980. I was surprised why they made it wrong, they all saw the one i filled -up that Its right and very clear, they told me to make it again and letting me pay on which its there fault. I understand on the human error. No problem with me if they will make it again to correct their mistake but I must not pay any single amount.For its clearly the fault on the Philippine Embassy Staff at Doha Qatar.
Since I insisted not to pay for its there fault they told me that they will give me a call on Monday, 24th of January for they want to check in Manila .Hoping for your immediate action concerning this matter..
Im expecting for the positive action and do believe that you're truly a rule model to us as a OFW..Many thanks in advance
