How and where do I obtain one?

If you live in Qatar

You must apply in person and provide:

two photographs (4x6 cm)
A copy of all the passports used in Qatar with the dates of entry and departure clearly shown
a copy of your current passport
a copy of your residence permit
12 Qatari Riyal (fees are subject to change)

If you live outside Qatar

You can:

return to Qatar to apply for the police certificate; OR
obtain the certificates from a Qatari embassy or consulate by providing the application documents listed below.
Required documents:

a copy of the passport that you used in Qatar;
a copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar;
a copy of your current passport (if applying at a Qatari embassy or consulate);
a copy of your current valid residence permit (if applying at a Qatari embassy or consulate);
a fingerprint form;
five photographs; and
30 Qatari Riyal (fees are subject to change).

As far as I know, regardless of what type of visa you'll apply basta 2 years after macancel nung residence mo dati ok na. After 2 years kasi nakabalik na ang cousin ko. Ako naman kakauwi ko lang nung Jan.2011.. Have you any idea how to obtain Police Clearance from Qatar? Hit me back if you know someone who have gone through this. Thanks!

Greetings to everyone! I need to know what are the requirements to obtain a clearance in Qatar when I'm already here in the Philippines? I could've had while I were there if there's no expiration for it. I will be needing it to for my visa application in Canada. How shall I start? Please help.

Invitation letter
I've read comments that the invitation letter to qatar needs to be authenticated in the phil embassy in qatar. However, my husband was told by the personnel in the Phil embassy in qatarthat they do not authenticate the said letter. Pls enlightened me on this matter to avoid any hassle on my departure .

qatar visa for my nieces
I just got to send the passport and visas of my nieces in DHL last March.1. However, were told by staff of DHL that stamping of Qatar Embassy has a deficient machine and would not know when is the exact date they can release the stamped visas. My question is the visas given to my nieces from Qatar should depart on March 26,2011. Since you said that no definite date of release of the visas stamping, how can that be? You should be doing immediate repair of your stamping machine since it is very clear that all VISA given are centralized worldwide. So you should know that somebody is about to get their visa stamping before they leave on the specific date indicated on the VIsa given.
