In response to all question about Development Aid from Qatar Government which could support your initiatives, please note that MFA provides grants directly only to NGOs that are registered, once given a grant, another available way for your organization of applying for grants is to submit proposal of the project to the Qatar Embassy operated in development country. The proper embassy for activities undertaken in Indonesia is in Jakarta. Qatar embassies realize the assistance initiatives within the framework of Small Grants Fund. Local NGOs apply to receive these funds trough the procedure of request to submit project proposals which have to fulfil the criteria specified in the Objectives for Qatar Embassy, Please note that you can also find more information concerning Qatar development cooperation with Indonesia from the embassy in Jakarta’s website. The cooperation is concentrated on two main areas: human rights and anti terrorism project, Please note: Small Grants cannot be made for the infrastructure, deferred maintenance or annual operating costs of public institutions, mosque including pesantren, churches, services of special tax districts, or government agencies, grants cannot be made for religious activities or projects that exclusively benefit the members of sectarian or religious organizations.
