No Contact or Communication
I am married to a Portuguese citizen and we are trying to visit her family in Portugal, I submitted my application 3 weeks ago in person and requested my documents to be forwarded to my home address in Calgary.
Till now I have received no communication from the consulate and need my passport for business travel. No one answers the phone either.
I will add that when I applied for my visa last year it took 5 days to receive the visa and passport, unfortunately this time it has been over 3 weeks and no communication.

Thank you

I feel like Im in Portugal Trying to get paper work done
I find it amazing that I can receive the same poor service in Canada by the Portuguese Consulate as when I go back to the old country and try to get paper work done there. You do not answer your phone, and the hours indicated seem like a rough approximation to when you do actually work. Embarrassing to say the least. Frustrating! Very Frustrating

registering my marriage in Portugal
Hi
I have the need to register my marriage in Portugal so that I may proceed with my passport. I have also changed my name twice before, what do I need to do to have my current legal name registered and what is the cost and time frame? can this be done without travelling to the consulate?
