Does the Portuguese consulate need signatures from BOTH parents in order for kids to get dual citizenship?
I am in Lisbon as a tourist, and was accepted to the PhD Course beginning in September 2016 at Universidade de Lisboa. My question to you: may I send by post, directly to the Consulate in Vancouver (I have my residence in Richmond, BC), the needed documents to get a Student Visa and Residence permit for the 3 to 5 years of PhD Course? Can you send my Visa back by mail too? I can e-mail to you all my documents for your analysis and the originals will be sent by post.Thank you for your attention and your prompt answer.

Hi, I am a Nepali Citizen living in Alberta as a full time graduate student. I want to attend a short course (july 4th to 10th, 2016) in Portugal. I would like to know how can I apply for Portugal Visa? I know the nearest consulate office is in Vancouver but do I need to go there to submit my application and will I get the interview appointment immediately? What type of Visa should I apply for a short course (1 week)? What are the most essential documents I should have.?

Hello, I am planning to travel in Portugal for vacation. I am a China Citizen with Canada Permanent Resident Card. I need to apply for the Schengen Visa.
I am living in Edmonton and there is no Portugal consulate. I traveled in Italy last year and I did fingerprints and took photo when I applied the Schengen Visa at that time.
I believe my biometric data is in the system. My question is: Do I need to travel to Vancouver to submit my application in person or I can courier my application? Thank you so much.
