We are hoping to relocate to Portugal in the fall of this year. We were told at one time that there was an email process available through the consulate that could provide us with all of the paperwork and applications we need to complete in order to make this happen. We already have a contact in Portugal who will guide us through the NIF process and setting up banking and all other requirements in Portugal. what we need to know is what we need to complete as applications and what are the requirements for health insurance and such to make this move happen. I would like to have all of our required applications and documents completed so we can complete them and then be ready to finalize our in country requirements.

My husband and I went to San Francisco and the employee was so helpful to us took about 1 hour and we were done. Thank you for an excellent service. We received the passport in 2 weeks.
I am adopted and I am looking to gain dual citizenship with Portugal being that my father was from there from what I was told by my American family
