I have recently submitted my visa application thru VFS as I need to visit Portugal and attend a Conference happening in Mid-May.. Was wondering if I there would be means of expediting the process as I need to travel a week prior to that to a different country.

I'm an Egyptian citizen living in Saudi Arabia working as professor in Tabuk University. I have an acceptance to attend a conference in Lisbon 10-13 May 2015.
