Hi, I registered my birth 2 months ago at the Bruma office. Please advise on the time frame to get the birth registration done? I was still told that is its still not confirmed.

I would like to know which department or whom I could contact to see if my Grandfathers birth was registered at the Portuguese embassy.
My Great Grandfather was born in Madeira, however he came to South Africa, my grandfather was born in South Africa, however I need to know if his birth was registered as i would then like to start the application for my Portuguese passport.
