My husband is aa American Portugese, he need to make an appointment to get his ID card... the new address and new phone number of the Consulate is not listed here... how can I call or make appointment to come by and take care of this. I know my husband need to come in person to do this, I just want to make a schedule appointment for him.
Thank you, please let us know or at least update your new informations here... these are still the old numbers and address you have in Fifth Av
My sister in law had a appointment to renew her passport so we dicited to make a day of it... I get up to the eight floor as soon as we get in there was another couple waiting and no one to ask any information, we decided to sit and wait for about five minutes. All very quite but that changed real soon one of the workers come up and ask if we had a appointment, so my sister and law said yes she than turn to me and my daughter who now is feeding her three week old baby and told us we had to leave there was no room for us in there. we were going to leave but all of minute she turns to my sister in law and said to her tell them to leave, she said to her no you tell them why should I. The lady became very mad and told us you have to get out we were in the way. My daughter was still feeding the baby as she made us get out into the hallway. So I told her she had no heart and she keep on pushing us into the elevator, so I lost my cool and had a few choice words for her... This is the crap who gets great jobs but are the most miserable people ever... I am so disgusted with idiots like this. She should work more and not worry about stupid stuff. The women's name was Germana something. Uma vergonha .
Is it possible for me to get here an on-line print out of the formal application form for a residency status in Portugal or do I need to come to the consulate to pick up in person?
Your help and reply would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
I called with questions regarding registration of marriage. Person I spoke on the phone with was very kind and helpful. She really went out of her way to explain in detail the Portuguese rules.
Never had a bad experience.
I want to make an appointment to apply for a visa, the online system does not go through with the warning message"security code is not valid". They wrote on their website saying that if the online system does not work I can call or email them to make an appoinment. I called and emailed them 10 days ago, but no one picked up and answered. I went to the consulate today and asked how to contact them. Incredible!!! They were asking "do you know how to use a computer? do you know how to work with a browser? We do not have anyone replying your email! If you cannot use the online system, you will never get an appointment!!!" How rude those people are!! I totally understand why Portugal has so many debt…. Do those people represent portugal? I am so disappointed. If you have a choice, do not get in touch with them, they will just embarrass you!!!
