What a shame !
I have been calling for days. No one ever picks up the phone. This doesn't exactly look favorably on the people of Portugal. How hard would it be to have someone answer the phone ?
If you hire people to answer the phones AND THEY DONT..GET NEW PEOPLE!!!

No phones are answered and no emails or replied. Trying to get an appointment to pick up my passport so I could go to Portugal.i been calling for the past 2 weeks and no answer . Do these people work.
The lady at the front desk who sometimes chooses to answer the phone is the rudest person I have ever engaged with. She is always irritated with questions, and has not been helpful at all! I am ashamed that this is my consulate, and embarrassed for the way that I have been treated to date.
I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN I GOT TO THE CONSULATE THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME MY NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST AND I SHOWED HER MY APPOINTMENT BUT SJE INSISTE ON LETTING ME UPSTAIRS. I CALLLED THE NUMBER ON THE SITE A MILLION TIMES BUT THERE IS NEVER AN ANSWER THE PHONE JUST RING CONSTANTLY THEN GOES TO BUSY SIGNAL. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE.
iam triyng to back home and am stranded the police citys what ever kind are.stool my id social sec. every think. thay kept arsting me in all states.iam at Islamic center in Wilmington NC.need help.frends here helppd me litelbit.i come here wethe my father brther from the feredoos ilands countery.long ago.now am stranded.need your help please. thank you.i be waiting.
