I am waiting for the appointment for renewal of ID Card and Portuguese Passport of myself since 2 weeks has been passed I haven't got my appointment reply.

I've visited the embassy in Manchester several times about my ID.
On the 5th of September I requested a new card as I missed placed mine and I got told I'd receive it within a few weeks then on Monday 2nd of October I decided to go back to the embassy to ask about my card as it's still not been delivered and the member of staff said I'd have to wait another month as "the slip" never arrived home. I showed him my receipt and I explained to him I need my card to request a new passport as I'm studying in Leeds university and also need it for work purposes and he literally pulled a face as if he couldn't care less and his response was he has my card but won't give it to me without the slip. Now it ain't the first time It happens, members of staff at the embassy don't ever seem to actually help the public he didn't give me other options or anything he didn't try to see if the slip can be sent again nothing at all but did ask me to leave.

For the last 4 months i have been trying to contact the consulate in manchester. It has been impossible to do this- i have written sent emails and rang everyday. I have never had a response-i am due to travel in november and need my passport and id renewed as soon possible. Here is my email me with a appointment on acecycle@hotmail.com
