Family visa
Salam mehmood sab sir i applied my family visa spouse's SEF letter but after 4 months embassy send me my passort back without any objection or rejection but they do not give me my document's back all papers are original when next i apply my visa what can i do without papers last Tuesday i was go to embassy no one are there but security guard make a phone call to a women and i tell him about my case and she said to me we do not receive any application you go to your home we call you for your papers but now today is Friday embassy do not call me i want my papers back can you please help me what can i do thank you so much

Outcome of the meeting of Mr. Fayaz Khan with the Director General Consular Affairs and Director SEF, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Portugal on 6th September.
I informed them about the issues faced by our community in getting visas and attestation of documents.
Following is their response:
1. The Portuguese Consular Section in Islamabad may be opened by the end of this year,
2. Schengen visa to Pakistani nationals will be issued by the Embassy of Spain in Islamabad, for time being. The Portuguese CDA in Islamabad and the Spanish Ambassador are working on it,
3. The documents attested by Foreign office Islamabad and countersigned by the Embassy of Pakistan in Lisbon will NOT be attested by the Foreign Ministry of Portugal but a DECLARATION will be issued to them, which the applicant will attach to his/her documents. The declaration will be acceptable to SEF and other departments, till the Consular Section of the Portuguese Embassy in Islamabad is opened.

Embassy ka sara staff resign kar gya ha. So abhi time zayada b lag skta ha. Filhal September mein open hony ky chances nahi hain.

Outcome of the Meeting of Head of Chancery with senior officials for Consular Services in the Portuguese Foreign Ministry regarding the issues faced by Pakistani Community. They conveyed the following :
1. The Consular Section of the Embassy of Portugal in Islamabad will remain closed till further orders;
2. We can not say when it will be opened, the decision will be taken by higher authorities;
3. The Consular section is closed due to technical reasons;
4. The Consular services will be re-structured and then it will be opened;
5. NO VISA, ATTESTATION or any other services will be provided unless the technical problem is resolved;
6. Visa to family members of Pakistani community residing in Portugal will be processed once the technical issue is resolved, even after expiry of 90 days. Because its an administrative issue and will be responsible for processign the cases, even if the SEF letter for visa is expired;
PLEASE NOTE
Regarding Attestation of documents, the meeting is referred to the Head of Consular department, which is scheduled on 6 September. We will propose that instead of the Portugeuse Embassy in Islamabad, the doucuments should be attested here in the Portuguese Foreign Ministry.
