File Number
I too would like to know how to find file number not given by the agent, just as I saw a message in the group.

Birth registration
Can someone please advise if birth registration records are only done in Lisbon or can it be done in any other province of Portugal. Is there any website where birth registration status can be checked?

Murrel
Murrel, I had sent a message with links to some reliable barristers. Perhaps you could go to the previous page and check it out. If anyone else knows of reliable barristers, please do share as it would be conducive to other people's interests to start their Portuguese citizenship process.

John
Olá John, feliz Ano Novo,

No; I'm still in Goa, I'm due to leave for Portugal and eventually UK this year, as my process has reached the final stage as I'm expecting my birth to be registered by September.

The reason for the flag change is due to the fact that I've started using a VPN or virtual private network. On the technical side, that protects my location and hence my identity from being traced, hence it ensures protection and safety. It makes use of servers based outside of the country, hence sometimes you may see a German flag or a Spanish flag etc. I reckon there are others here as well, who maybe knowingly or unknowingly using VPNs as well.
Good to hear from you again, friend.
Saudades,
os melhores cumprimentos

Does anyone know any advocate from Portugal whose fees are cheap & reasonable for Birth Registration process and he accepts the fees after the Birth Registration is complete? Welcome suggestions if any! Thank you!

Well said 'the real Ezequiel'! It is precisely because of fraudsters and mischief mongers impersonating genuine people that so many well wishers and advisers stopped posting and vanished from this forum. I feel they should be ignored henceforth and will hopefully disappear on their own.
