Comments on this Consulate-General
No. A case would ask them to get rid of the appointment system altogether. If this continues it could eventually take two to three years just to get an appointment. This is a gross violation of our human rights. No country takes this long to grant it’s own citizens a document.
From when they are saying about rescheduling yet we haven't received any call. I don't think Consulate open this year
Peter - Even if the case is concluded post the transition deadline it would still be good if it helped reduce the timeframe.
Eden - The Consulate’s ineptness is solely due to its own deficits and has nothing to do with the EU or UK.
Filing a case is pointless as by the time the case concludes it will be too late. Our goans should now explore other eu countries like France Germany Switzerland etc.,
Yes we will support you.
as mentioned in their official website. All canceled Appointments are only of Renewal or New BI ?
the goa consulate is delaying because they have got a warning from eu and uk regarding the migrants travelling abroad. so this is basically done to control immigration.
Please go ahead and share the details here...I am sure everyone will support
I agree with you. The wait times have become unacceptably long. I couldn’t find a specific EU law with regards to issuing an ID card within a specific timeframe but a lawyer would understand this better. What help do you want is it financial or something else ?
