Mention France. We mentioned France and we will be entering France first then travelling to Portugal. Portuguese border control would allow you to directly enter regardless of circumstances once they verify your assento since you are a Portuguese citizen. So theoretically yes you can enter Portugal directly, but the airline would be unlikely to allow you to board (since they pay the flight costs if you’re deported). My wife applied in VFS Mumbai. I don’t know the exact situation with VFS Goa.

Jack, on the application form it ask for member state of first entry.

Should I enter portugal as first state of entry.

If I mention France, is it compulsory to enter France first?

What did u mention? Portugal or France?

Also VFS Goa is not processing any Type of visa for the moment.

Thankyou Jack once again for all the help.

Answer yes and choose Portugal. If this is your first time visiting the Schengen zone then choose single entry.

Jack if you don't mind I need some more help in filling up the application

You indicated that you will be travelling in the country France , will you be travelling in other member states, even if only for a few hours?

What do I opt for if I say Yes then I need to choose list of other Schengen countries.

Do I opt for multiple entry.

Thank you once again

Yes the EU passport copy can be notarized by any notary in India. The marriage copy we provided was the church marriage, not the casamento. The casamento will have to be translated if you provide that. For EU spouse visas they only need proof that you are married.
The maximum amount of time you can spend in the Schengen zone is ninety days within a hundred and eighty day period. But once you get your Portuguese passport you needn’t worry about that.
