Comments on this Consulate-General
I also applied in June no news yet
They will finish first with the April appointments
If your Catholic the baptism record can be used for before nineteen.forty seven birth
Produce before BMC or any other old records
If you have
If birth records are not available or not found the BMC does not issue non availability certificate. You have to provide them with some proof of the birth in mumbai i.e. hospital record for them to issue a non availability certificate
Can anyone let me know how long does it take to get consulate appointments for BI/CC at Altinho. Applied in June, still waiting.
Pls make sure your documents are in order names etc as per teor n take advice from at least four or five agents as I have done the same as my birth teor pre sixty one was not proper some names were missing
Can anyone advise about the manual verification of BMC birth certificate what exactly is done.
CRC does not send anything to Mumbai it will be done only by the Portuguse Consul in Goa.
What about those births before the BMC got established? Who will issue the certificates
One lawyer told me that name of applicant in Indian ID documents should match with old Portuguese document name like theor. But my agent says we can do Correction in name in old Portuguese document like theor by approaching Panchayat. I am confused which is legit - Indian ID documents or old Portuguese document name.
Did you guys get the final confirmation with date, of those who applied for passport recently?
All Apostille are done by third party through IVF Global etc and anyone can do it from anyplace they send your documents to any address once done.
