In how many days you get BI in hand once you apply and regarding passport do I get appointments soon.
How does one follow up with local bmc for birth verification, no exact date has been given by the registra . How long does this post verification take? By when can I expect my file has been sent or received at the ward
Why are you disclosing your personal details here. Please don't do that. You don't know whose fake or not here. Don't give out any real names etc okay. There are people whose identity gets stolen. Then you will be stuck for longer. Don't disclose personal details please.
Anyone who got their birth registration done recently can explain the process and timelines of when it gets completed?
This would be helpful.
I have a bit of a situation here. Any genuine advice will be appreciated.
The name of my mother on my Indian passport is different from my Indian birth certificate as I had to correct the birth certificate for the assento. My birth certificate has my mother’s maiden name. For some reason, I cannot correct my passport as my mothers passport has a different name (middle names have been excluded and has my dad’s surname) and mothers passport is required as proof for correction.
After I get my assento done and go to apply for the cc, will this incorrect name on my passport cause any issue? Will the cc be rejected?
I understand that this is a very strange situation but the agent didn’t guide us properly before applying for the assento.
Of course she is charging him, but no harm in double checking with others who have gone through the process.
