Also it’s nothing to do about if you’re an EU or not, when In England, be like English. Some immigrants try and display their ethics publicly if you know what I mean and that’s the thing they will hate. Even I hate that In Goa, Not speaking English fluently is one of them.

Whatever opinion one has, I have always found people welcoming and supportive here. Even when I used to live in private shared house In Liverpool to having my own house. Neighbours are English and they are lovely. Financially UK is the strongest economy in today’s date and my bank in Goa loves Pounds banging in

Chances are that you've experienced the more EU favouring side of the British population. The percentage of people who voted in brexit were likely to be more racist, so there definitely are chances that not everybody you meet would be "Racist" or rude towards you. It was a fifty two percent favour towards brexit as opposed to a forty eight percent in favour to the EU. Most of the British people I had met in my workplace were brexit supporters.

I agree with John completely. England is infact more racist than Scotland. I used to have a patient at my workplace in the hospital here in Goa, he was from Luton, England, and he seemed very much anti EU and loved brexit dearly. During his time, PM Teresa May was in power and he was very upset with how low she was bowing herself to the EU. With the SNP back in power, along with it's union to the Green party to have a majority in Scotland, the chances of a referendum have doubled.

John, I have been in this country since I was twenty which now counts ten glorious years and I have not experienced any racism or racist behaviour towards me. I brought my family members including my wife who is non eu and she is also working here without any issues. Not to boast about but I have been to Northern Ireland and Scotland as well for vacations and found the locals very welcoming.

This country hates immigrants from only one specific community which is not hidden to whole world and not to be naked here.

You need to take into account other factors. Most white English people do not want non white immigration. (They don’t say this out loud).

The truth is native Britons have been tricked into accepting Goans, Eastern European and other migrants. They were never asked whether they wanted you in their country. Portugal granted you citizenship and you just moved to Britain bypassing immigration laws.

The Northerners are already upset with Boris and are switching support towards the Reform Party. If Scotland leaves, the chances of a right wing government in England increases significantly. Brexit was just the beginning. The UK (especially England) is the most anti immigrant country in Western Europe.

Look up the term “Paki Bashing”. It’s what used to happen in Britain in the seventies and eighties when the National Front and BNP (currently Britain First) were gaining in the polls. That can easily happen again.

Of course I agree that EU passport opens up your chances to work across the member states however language barrier is the most unavoidable thing. Also locals get priority. Economies of English speaking member states are not yet recovered from Covid unlike of the UL which is already bouncing back strong. Chances of getting job in UK in today’s date is hundred times more than that of Gulf or EU member state. Pound Sterling is getting stronger day by day

I applied for normal appointment as everyone does. Don’t think that there’s an urgent option there
