Thank you so much both. God bless you
Does anyone have any news or confirmation emails for BI renew appointments...any progress??..if any pls share..thanks
One of my relative was born on Pune n happened to be the applicants wife... She told us her birth was registered in Mapusa.. so v checked...most records..most v torn... Pigeon shit on the records... V found her brother's... Not hers... Then v had baptism from Pune..Lawyer asked to take new order from the court... N then the BMC issued a new certificate. this is just FYI
Thanks very much John & Brendon for your guidance.
I will proceed as per your suggestions. I haven't yet registered fathers birth. Thanks once again.
Regards,
John
Since your father is not the primary applicant you can use his baptism extract in place of bis birth certificate. Don't bother wasting your time and resources with procuring his civil birth record. Dealing with bmc mumbai is like descending into a bottomless pit
get your aadhaar card and your indian passport corrected to john miguel joao fernandes to match your birth certificate. You will have to make a government gazette for name change failing which you won't be able to correct your name in aadhaar or passport.
you will have to get your birth certificate corrected to pedro felipe fernandes as your birth has to match his birth.
Have you registered your fathers marriage in lisbon?
